OAG Launches New Digital Audit Management System
By IT Division, OAG
The Office of the Auditor General officially launched its new Digital Audit Management System (DAMS) on December 5, 2025, marking a significant milestone in the office modernization journey.
The system, developed with support from the World Bank Public Financial Management program, provides:
- Centralized audit planning and scheduling
- Real-time progress tracking and quality control
- Automated working paper management and documentation
- Integrated risk assessment modules
- Dashboard reporting for management oversight
The DAMS replaces the previous paper-based and spreadsheet-driven processes that had been in use for audit management. The transition is expected to improve audit efficiency by approximately 30% and significantly enhance the quality and consistency of audit documentation.
All OAG staff have completed initial training on the new system, and a dedicated helpdesk has been established to support the transition period.
The system will be fully operational across all audit divisions by the start of the 2026 audit cycle.
